Here at OSC, we have moved quickly to implement VIRTUAL Orthopedic visits as a scheduling option to our patients and providers in response to the current Coronavirus pandemic. This is a great option for those who are following quarantine guidelines but require Orthopedic care.
These visits involve standard video conferencing, screen sharing through a secure connection that is HIPPA compliant.
This type of care can be used for most situations, even for initial orthopedic evaluations. A standard history will be taken and a very limited physical evaluation can be performed within the obvious constraints of the situation.
Radiographs, MRI’s, and other studies can be reviewed, discussed and then treatment plans can be made for your orthopedic condition. We have expanded office hours because elective and non-urgent surgerie have been canceled. Our physicians will have increased availability. This means that patients will have access to a physician on a same-day or next day basis, if needed.
